Dieser strategische Schritt steigert die Effizienz, strafft die Produktion und festigt die langfristige industrielle Ausrichtung des Unternehmens im Berner Jura.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">2019<\/span><\/h2><p>Das von einem schweizerischen Industriellen geleitete \u201eSwiss Team\u201c \u00fcbernahm mit Wirkung zum Schweizer Nationalfeiertag (1. August 2019) das Gesch\u00e4ft von Swissmetal und damit das gesamte Personal an beiden Standorten. Die neuen schweizerischen Firmeninhaber machten sich zur Aufgabe, das Image und das Gesch\u00e4ft dieses Flaggschiffs der Schweizer Industrie zu st\u00e4rken. Der Hauptsitz von Swissmetal befindet sich nach wie vor in Reconvilier (Kanton Bern), zusammen mit einer Niederlassung in Dornach (Kanton Solothurn).<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">2013<\/span><\/h2><p>Ein chinesischer Investor (Baoshida) \u00fcbernahm das Gesch\u00e4ft von Swissmetal im Jahr 2013.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">2008<\/span><\/h2><p>Presentation of the new extrusion press at the Dornach site.\u00a0 At full capacity, the technical wonder is able to replace five outdated presses.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">1986 \u2013 2006<\/span><\/h2><p>In der Folge produzierte Boillat Dr\u00e4hte, St\u00e4be und kleine Profile f\u00fcr Schreibger\u00e4te, Elektronik und die Pr\u00e4zisionsdreherei. Dornach spezialisierte sich auf die Herstellung von St\u00e4ben, Profilen und B\u00e4nder gr\u00f6\u00dferer Formate. Diese wurden in erster Linie an die Sektoren Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Schlosserei, Uhrenindustrie, Bauwesen und Pr\u00e4zisionsdreherei vertrieben. Zum Kundenportfolio gesellten sich die Automobilindustrie sowie die Luft- und Raumfahrt, nicht zuletzt dank spezieller Legierungen, die beispielsweise in der Osprey Spritzgie\u00dfanlage bei Boillat hergestellt werden. In Dornach f\u00fchrten Investitionen in eine kontinuierliche Strangpressanlage zu Fortschritten in der Fertigung von Kupferprofilen, die das bereits umfassende Angebot an Messing- und Bronzeprofilen f\u00fcr zahlreiche Anwendungen erg\u00e4nzen.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">1900\u20131986<\/span><\/h2><p>Zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts verlief die Entwicklung der beiden Werke parallel. Zu den Walzwerken gesellten sich Press- und Ziehanlagen. Die Produktion wurde auf Messingst\u00e4be und sp\u00e4ter dann auf Dr\u00e4hte f\u00fcr Schweizer CAM-L\u00f6sungen in der aufstrebenden Hochgeschwindigkeitsfertigung ausgeweitet. Im Laufe der Jahre kamen Strangpressen hinzu, die Ziehkapazit\u00e4ten wurden erweitert, und die Walzwerke und Gie\u00dfereien wurden schrittweise modernisiert. Mit dem Ausbau der Fertigungsanlagen vergr\u00f6\u00dferte sich auch die Produktpalette. Boillat konzentrierte sich zunehmend auf kleine bis mittlere Abmessungen, w\u00e4hrend Dornach vorrangig Produkte mittlerer und gro\u00dfer Abmessungen herstellte.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">1895<\/span><\/h2><p>In Dornach wurden ein Walzwerk und eine Gie\u00dferei errichtet und unter dem Namen Schweizerische Metallwerke AG Dornach betrieben. Beide Unternehmen entstanden und wuchsen dank der Nachfrage der Schweizer Uhrenindustrie nach Pr\u00e4zisionsmetallwaren f\u00fcr Uhrwerke und Platinen.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #af7c61;\">1855<\/span><\/h2><p>In Reconvilier im Berner Jura wurde die Walzstra\u00dfe und Gie\u00dferei Bueche, Boillat &amp; Cie. ins Leben gerufen<\/p><p><!--:--><\/p><p><!--:fr--><\/p><p><!--:--><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025 At the end of 2025, Swissmetal consolidates its industrial operations by closing the Dornach site and centralizing all activities at its Reconvilier facility.
